Tinea pedis:
Apply the cream to the affected area twice daily. The usual duration of treatment in mild infections is 1 week. In severe or extensive infections, treatment should continue for several days after the disappearance of all signs and symptoms, to prevent the recurrence of the disease.
For other infections:
Apply the cream to the affected area once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the infection.
Treatment should continue for several days after the disappearance of all signs and symptoms.
The usual duration of treatment is:
– tinea versicolor: 2-3 weeks,
– tinea corporis: 3-4 weeks.
If after 4 week treatment there is no clinical improvement, the diagnosis should be re-examined. Essential hygiene measures are needed to prevent the occurrence of infections or reinfections.
Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic infection with frequent relapses.
1 g of cream contains 20 mg ketoconazole.
