General Info

FORVITA® B-complex is a combination of vitamins from B group and each of them has a special role in the human body.

Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 contribute to the normal function of the nervous system, normal energy metabolism and reduction of fatigue and exhaustion. In addition, vitamins B1, B3, B6, B12 and folic acid contribute to the normal psychological function. Also, vitamins B2, B6, B12 and folic acid contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B1 also contributes to the normal heart function, while vitamins B2 and B3 contribute to the maintenance of the normal skin and normal mucous membranes. Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal synthesis of cysteine and to the normal metabolism of homocysteine, proteins and glycogen. Together with vitamin B12 and folic acid, it contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin B12 also contributes to normal cognitive functions and reduces the risk of their decline with aging, while folic acid plays a role in cell division and contributes to the normal amino acid synthesis. Vitamin B5 contributes to the normal mental abilities and to the normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters.
